Uganda (and some life updates)

Going to Uganda, moving to a new city (and more updates) - Hanna's Places

Happy Sunday! I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for a fresh week! A lot has happened since I blogged last, so I thought I’d just do a little update post and then get back into the swing of posting again:

1 | I’ve returned from Uganda last week and I had such a great time. The country is beautiful, the people are friendly and the project was very impressive. I definitely miss the sun and having children around me all the time (and so many other things), and there’s definitely a few Africa posts coming! Watch this space.

2 | I also had the easiest flat hunt ever. I started looking for apartments last Friday, e-mailed two apartments I was interested in, looked at one of them on Saturday and will probably sign the documents next Monday! I’d have to move a little bit earlier than I intended to, but the apartment is beautiful and exactly what I’m looking for, so it’s worth it :) Now I have interiors on my mind and have been pinning like crazy, so there’s a few interior design inspiration/moving tips etc posts coming up soon too. I’ll also try and blog about the new places that I discover in my new city, but we’ll see :)

3 | Apart from looking at pretty apartments on Pinterest and packing boxes, I’m actually trying to write my Bachelor’s thesis ;) It’s moving along slowly but surely and taking up most of my days at the moment…

4 | Last but not least, I’m trying to stick to the Minimalism Challenge from Into Mind at the moment at it’s fun! Did anyone ever try it? I’m on day five so far!

And some other links I’ve liked lately:

I would like to move in here, thank you very much.

This rug is on my wishlist too, if only it was a bit bigger!

Love & Lemons has a cookbook!

It’s still icy out, but this dress is already on my wishlist for summer.
